With more than 20 years of experience working with international firms and networks
I am Louise Willdridge, an international consultant specialising in audit quality, quality management systems, and governance and risk management frameworks for professional services firms.
I bring over 20 years of experience in audit, quality, and risk management roles, including senior leadership positions within international professional services organisations.
I began my career in audit before moving into roles dedicated to quality management and professional standards. I later held a Director position at Grant Thornton, where I supported firms across Europe and Asia-Pacific on audit quality, governance, and risk management matters.
At Grant Thornton International, I was based in Singapore and worked closely with member firms across the region, supporting initiatives related to quality, governance, and regulatory relationships.
Throughout my career, I have conducted quality reviews and advisory engagements with more than 50 firms worldwide, helping them strengthen their systems and processes to achieve sustainable improvements in quality.
Today, I work independently through LBW Global, where I advise firms on audit quality, governance, and risk management, and support leadership teams in implementing practical and effective solutions.
Outside of my professional work, I am passionate about swimming and regularly compete in long-distance open water events — a reminder that consistency, endurance, and focus are just as essential in professional life as they are in sport.
